The NCC flag represents the National Cadet Corps, a youth organization in various countries including India. The flag symbolizes the values of discipline, courage, and service. The three colours in the flag depict the three services of the Corps,

*Red for the Army.
*Deep Blue for the Navy.
*Light Blue for the Air Force.

The two dots in the middle of the upper end of the wreath represent the two premier training institutes of the NCC, i.e., the Officers Training Academy at Kamptee, for training male Associate NCC Officers and Women Officers Training Academy at Gwalior, for training lady Associate NCC Officers and Instructors.

The History of NCC flag
The NCC flag for various units of the NCC was first introduced in 1951. The flag was of same pattern, colour and size as was used by various regiments of the Army. The only difference was that it had the NCC badge and unit designation placed in the centre.
